Itinerary as follows:

Day 1

Friday, May 1 Welcome to Naples! Private Transfer for the group from the

Naples Airport to the Grand Hotel Ambasciatori,

Hotel Accommodations: Grand Hotel Ambasciatori, Deluxe Double Room

Seaview Accommodations for 7 nights with breakfast daily.

Arrival and afternoon at leisure

6PM – 7PM - Welcome Cocktail Reception on property (Location TBA)

Included will be 1 glass of sparkling wine, water, juice or non-alcoholic beverage of the clients choice (Compliments of the GM).

Small Appetizers will be offered to the group.

7PM - Welcome Dinner at the Grand Hotel Anbasciatori


Day 2

Saturday, May 2 – Group will enjoy their breakfast from 7AM – 10AM

10AM - Everyone will meet in the lobby for their Walking Tour of Sorrento.

12 Noon -Upon Completion of our Tour we will have a lunch at a local restaurant in Sorrento. 

The Restaurant will be O’Schizzariello. Wine will be served and included for Lunch.

2PM -Free Time - Enjoy Sorrento and what it has to offer.

7:30PM – the Group will meet in the lobby for an exciting evening at Donna

Sophia Restaurant. The group will be transported from the hotel to the restaurant and return to the hotel around 11PM.

Includes Round Trip Transportation, 4 course meal, Wine and non-alcoholic beverages.

Day 3


Departure from the Hotel with the guide to the hills nearby Sorrento. In an unusual experience to discover our typical cooking tradition, our guests will actively live the

traditions of Campania cuisine preparing personally with the staff marvelous dishes to be tasted on the patio in front of the Villa. All this using the typical products of

Mediterranean cuisine. One of the special dishes is the fresh pasta cut and filled in many different ways such as: ravioli, lasagna, cannelloni, spaghetti, fettuccine andscialatielli. There is also the famousNeapolitan pizza and much more.

Day 4

Monday May 4 - Group will enjoy their breakfast from 7AM – 9AM

9AM -Tour to Capri!

To be included in the tour:

  • Transfer from the hotel to the Ferry Entrance in Sorrento.
  • Cost of the Ferry plus ½ day tour by either bus of the island with a few stops lunch is not included.
  • Departure from the Hotel with the guide.

No holiday here in Sorrento would be complete without a trip to the evocative Island of Capri. Sail across the bay of Naples for the start of an unforgettable day. For so small an island, about 4 miles long and 2 miles wide. Capri has had much said, sung and written about it. First you will visit the fabulous villa of Dr. Axel Munthe, a Swedish doctor whose best in selling book “Story of San Michele” tells of his time on Capri. His villa was built with the remains of Roman ruins; there is a beautiful shady garden with terrace offering splendid views of the island. You then go down to Capri town, which is very chic with shops, hotels and restaurants along winding streets. The main square Piazza Umberto I has a pretty white church and several open-air cafes where you can sit and watch the world drift by. Leading off the square are medieval looking alleyways and arcades full of shops selling the handicrafts of island, clothing; jewelry made from coral and gold, shoes and ceramics. Admire the colorful gardens of Augustus overlooking the famed Faraglioni Rocks and Marina Piccola where Gracie Fields once lived. There is free time for you to go off and admire the elegant boutiques, stroll along the cobbled streets or simply relax on the beach. There is so much to see and do on this tiny island paradise you will be sorry to leave.

At the end return to the Hotel.

5PM - We will all meet at the Ferry area for our organized transfer back to Sorrento.

8PM – Evening Dinner at La Favorita Restaurant Rooftop. Beverages will be additional.

Day 5

Tuesday, May 5 – Group will enjoy their breakfast from 7AM – 9AM

9AM -Meet in the lobby and the group will enjoy a Full day wine tasting and a cooking class along with a visit to the pasta factory in Gragnano. Lunch and selected beverages are included.

Visit of one of the most famous Winemaker “Lacryma Christi” Experience our unique wines,

born in the shadow of the volcano. More goes into our Lacryma Christi wines than just grapes:

The land: tour our 16 hectares of vineyard, planted in the volcanic soil on the slopes of Mount Vesuvius.

The labor: see how our family has worked these hills every day since 1948 to create a

winery which combines the rigours of organic production with the warmth of Italian

hospitality. We only produce a limited number of bottles a year, all of which are sold directly

from our own wine shop. Wine Tasting and visit.

In the afternoon departure to Gragnano and visit of Pasta Factory. The residents of Gragnano have always had a talent for working with flour and making a business out of it. We can see this from archaeological digs which have unearthed huge ovens (like that in Via Carmiano), loaves found fossilized after the eruption of Vesuvius in 79 AD in Pompei ed Ercolano and branded with the letter G, for Gens Grania, the Roman family that gave its name to what is now known as the area of Gragnano. Moulds for flour, like those sculpted in the Etruscan tomb of Cerveteri have also been found in the Varano area, and were mentioned by archaeologist Michele Ruggiero in 1881 in his book entitled “Degli scavi di Stabia” in relation to the discovery of “moulds and other tools for making pasta; this industry being continued today, in another form and using different methods, in Gragnano, by grace (as they say) of the special nature of the water and air which, being similar to those on the Amalfi coast, produce pasta which tastes and IS better than that made anywhere else”.

It was the people of Amalfi, considering that Gragnano was part of the Marine Republic from the 9th to the 12th century, that laid the foundations for making pasta, initially supplying the technology for what we now call the milling art, which was active for centuries in the Valle dei Mulini (valley of mills of Gragnano), and then for making pasta, which the people of Amalfi had learned through their contacts with the Arabs and Sicilians.

Day 6

Weds. May 6 - Group will enjoy their breakfast from 7AM – 10AM

9AM – Full day tour of Amalfi and Positano with lunch will be organized.

Lunch in included beverages are additional.

The “Amalfi Drive” is said to be the most spectacular road in Europe and from Sorrento, the winding cliff top road offers breathtaking panoramic views at every bend. Each spot is a world of its own, a fantastic world which dazzles the imagination and inspires unforgettable impressions. First stop in Positano, 2 hours of visit. At the end departure to Amalfi, which gives its name to the whole coast on which it lies. Once a thriving Marine Republic, powerful and prosperous and now a thriving holiday resort. The unmistakable cluster of white tightly packed houses rising up the hillside is dominated by the beautiful Cathedral, which stands superbly on the top of a great flight of steps leading up from the main square. Housed in the magnificent Cathedral are the remains of the Patron Saint of Amalfi and also Scotland – Saint Andrew. Lunch on the way.

At the end return to the Hotel.
