What to Expect:
Our MLK Ski Weekend is designed to offer an exclusive and immersive experience. Here’s what’s included in this remarkable getaway:

Accommodations: Enjoy three nights in deluxe rooms at our Boutique Mansion Hotel. Each room is curated to provide comfort and elegance, ensuring a cozy retreat after each day's adventures. The Francis Mansion offers mostly king beds; suites and rooms with two queen beds are reserved for families with teens or children. (Inquire directly for availability.)

Winter Activities: Take advantage of Maine’s winter playground with activities such as:
Skiing and Snowboarding: Lift tickets and ski rentals, including helmets, at Sunday River are all included.
Snowshoeing and Ice Fishing: Connect with nature and enjoy scenic Maine landscapes with these classic winter experiences. (ice availability needed for ice fishing)

Black History Walking Tour: Experience an insightful walking tour led by a Black Mainer with nine generations of family history in Maine. Discover Maine’s unique and powerful Black history, gaining a deeper connection to the state’s rich cultural roots.

Exclusive Events & Experiences:
Meet & Greet Hosted by Allagash: Start the weekend with a welcome gathering featuring local Maine beers and wines. Connect with fellow guests and get ready for a weekend of camaraderie and adventure.

Art & Culture: Immerse yourself in Maine’s vibrant arts scene with a visit to a local museum.
Live Music and Entertainment: Our 1st Annual Black Affair invites you to wear your finest black attire and dance to the beats of DJ Herman Ham. This unforgettable evening promises fellowship, laughter, and unforgettable memories.

Meals: Savor Maine’s culinary delights with carefully prepared meals:
Included Meals: 2 breakfast, 2 lunches, and 2 dinners, featuring Maine-inspired cuisine.
Beer and Wine: Enjoy beer and wine with meals, providing a taste of local flavors and a warm complement to your dining experience.

Pricing:
Adults: $775 per person double occupancy
Children (13 and under): $449 per child (must share a room with two adults).
Teens (over 13): Full adult price applies.

Additional Details:
Transportation: All local transportation to and from our hosted events is included once you arrive at our host hotel in Portland, Maine. Portland is also a great walking City.
